8 day Brass Cased Carriage Clock

The 8 day, hour repeating movement, striking the half hours and hours on a blued steel coiled gong, with original silvered, jewelled lever platform escapement. 4 3/4 inches high (handle lowered).

Ebonised Carriage Timepiece by Victor Athanese Pierret

The rectangular ebonised case with gilt carrying handle and square pad feet. The white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and blued steel Breguet style hands. The 8 day movement with balance wheel lever escapement with the pallets between the plates and the balance carried on the backplate. The back plate is stamped with the VAP cartouch. Height 7 inches, Width 5 inches, Depth 3 1/4 inches. On the base of the clock is a trade sticker Camerer, Kuss & Co, 186 Uxbridge Road, Sheperds Bush, W.
