An ebonised French timepiece, with blued steel Breguet style hands. The ebonised wooden case with fluted columns to the side. 9 inches high X 10 inches wide.

Ormolu and Alabaster Portico French Mantle Clock

The silvered brass dial with roman numerals and signed Fache A Douai, with blued steel Bregeut style hands. The movement striking the hours an half hours on a single bell. The two train movement with countwheel striking, anchor escapement, and gridiron pendulum. The ormolu mounts retain all their original gilding. The two mainsprings have been scribed 1827. Standing 19 inches high X 10 inches wide. This clock is of outstanding original quality
